Masquerade is an independent theatre school offering the highest quality classes in singing, acting and dance for 4-16 year olds.
We have four clearly defined ages groups and offer classes for all abilities, ages and levels. Our Masquerade Juniors classes for 4-6 year olds offers children a fantastic introduction to the performing arts and theatre. Our main school for 7 – 16 year olds is split into primary, secondary and senior stages to offer students graduated learning.
There are various informal showings through out the year in addition to our productions. Our main school 7-16 years partake in a large-scale production at a professional theatre biannually. Past shows include “Beauty & The Beast”, “Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dream coat” & “Annie, Matilda, Mary & Me”. During non-show years our main school have the opportunity to partake in West End workshops and a more informal Summer performance.
Our Masquerade Juniors have various informal showings also, as well as having the opportunity to take part in our Summer show. A special theme is chosen and then our team of teachers work together to create a story, songs, dances & costumes for the children to perform to friends and family at a professional theatre.
Masquerade has many links with well-known industry professionals thus being able to offer the students the opportunity to experience special workshops in addition to their normal classes during term time from our special guests & associates! Visit our associate and news page for more information.
We also offer graded examinations in singing with the London College of Music through our private singing lessons. Last year 100% of students achieved distinction or merit in their examinations.
All our teachers are industry professionals having trained at top London drama schools and Music Colleges as well as having worked professionally in theatre and film. All our staff have fully enhanced CRB checks so you can rest assured your children are learning in a fun, safe environment.
