Cristín is the Principal and Owner of Masquerade Theatre Arts, where she leads the development of the school, its training and productions. With a professional background in musical theatre, performance and education, she brings a wealth of experience to her work with the school and its students.
Irish-born, Cristín moved to London to complete her BMus in Vocal Performance at the London College of Music. She began her professional career performing across Ireland and the UK and, at just 17, won the International Song Contest. Her professional credits include HMS Pinafore at Chichester Festival Theatre, The Day Before Spring at Sadler’s Wells, Faithful at RADA, Darling of the Day at the National Portrait Gallery and The Sorcerer at Questors Theatre, as well as work on The Dream Weaver cast recording.

Cristín went on to spend many years at the London College of Music, where she lectured in voice, acting through song and performance. Her experience across performance and education has given her a strong understanding of performer development and continues to influence the way she approaches training and production at Masquerade Theatre Arts.

As Principal and Owner, Cristín oversees the school’s development, training, staff and productions. She also produces and directs the school’s major shows, which have been staged at venues including The Beck Theatre, Questors Theatre and Esher Theatre. Productions have included Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Annie, Beauty and the Beast and, most recently, Matilda Jr.

Cristín is proud of the team at Masquerade Theatre Arts and the community they have created. She is passionate about continuing to develop the school and providing young performers with a supportive and inspiring environment in which to grow in confidence, creativity and experience.
